What our Logo Says ...
There are several elements to our logo that make us very proud.
IMPRINT:
First is how the logo is created - simple & uplifting. Our designers achieved this by expressing our vision of, "taking your team outside the box," through a simple box design and an arrow pointing up and outside of the box. We believe that it is a Team Designers (you/manager/facilitator/trainer's) primary job to help bring their team "up" through engaging team building activities, dialogue and support. This upward motion expresses the "wins" the team makes in both team building, as well as expressed in their team's purpose. The box represents what constrains us as a team: our comfort levels; previous experiences; relationships; apathy; lack of focus; previous leaders; etc. The arrow is the energy we create through our investment in our team to propel ourselves up and outside of that box that keeps us doing the "same" things (with the same results). We are pushed just a "little bit" every day with our experience as a team to be just "that" much better. Those small incremental wins add up to propelling us outside our box and beyond what we thought possible.
COLOUR:
For our logo we chose yellow and blue. The yellow was applied to the box to share that there is an amazing amount of energy contained in the people who are on our team. The challenge is the energy is stuck inside the box. So that's where the blue arrow comes in. The blue arrow represents that the Team Designers needs to start small with a plan on propelling the team outside of their box, by harnessing that energy and focusing it upward. That is why we chose blue for the arrow. Blue is a colour people can trust, just like they can trust the activities and teaching the Team Building Activities community brings to their practice of engaging their team.
FONT:
Finally, the Typewriter font. Our designers suggested this font because it represents that our products, teachings and services come from a place of knowledge and authenticity. Knowledge, comes from the idea that typewriters have helped experts share their thoughts and wisdom through written pages - just like we do. Authenticity, in that we legitimately want to help. Our products, teachables, and services come from a place of improving the experiences of teams, from the board room to the shop floor, and sports field to outer space. We care about helping people to make team experiences fun, engaging, and supportive of success/growth and well being in the people who serve that team purpose.
